When we know ourselves, we live and work with more authenticity, purpose, and confidence. In essence, we learn to be in our self—fully and unapologetically. Understanding one’s MBTI type is a powerful tool for self-awareness and personal development.

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) offers valuable insights into personality by identifying sixteen distinct types based on individuals’ innate preferences. Determining a person's MBTI type should be done carefully and, ideally, with the guidance of a certified practitioner. The practitioner leads the participant through a structured self-assessment process to accurately identify their type. The MBTI framework also includes twenty facets that describe behavioral patterns, both in-preference (natural behaviors) and out-of-preference (less natural or more effortful behaviors). At its core, the MBTI outlines four preference pairs, or dichotomies, each consisting of two opposite preferences. Individuals typically lean more toward one side of each pair, which becomes their dominant preference. When individuals operate from their dominant preferences, they tend to feel more competent, confident, and energized—much like a right-handed batsman in cricket performs more naturally and effectively than if they were forced to bat left-handed. It helps individuals make better decisions, improve relationships, and achieve greater personal and professional growth.
